What does aspirin do to the kidneys?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps nothing?: Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. Ibuprofen, Naproxen and other are similar. These medications can have an effect on blood flow to the kidneys by a very complicated and intricate biochemical process. In an otherwise healthy individual with no renal issues, simple doses of these agents would have not effect. If other medical problems and with renal dz, it could be significant.
