Increase iron and D: The low mch/ferritin indicate you are low in iron. You can try increasing dietary iron &/or take a supplement- my favorite is iron bis-glycinate. See http://ods.Od.Nih.Gov/factsheets/iron-healthprofessional/ for food sources- many are vegetarian. Most in the us will have low vit d in the fall/winter unless we supplement. It usually requires 4000-5000 units a day to achieve optimal levels.
