Not convinced: From the numbers above i'm not convinced that you have iron deficiency anemia. What was your mcv? There certainly could be other scenarios that would give a laboratory analysis like this.

Iron deficiency: Your results suggest iron deficiency anemia. Your hemoglobin is on the lower side. This is not uncommon in women of child-bearing age. Oral therapy and nutritional modification should be attempted for several months before resorting to IV therapy.
