YourSurgeonKnowsBest: Since we don't know the method of closure under the band-aids, it's hard to give meaningful advice. Put a call into your doctor's office, check their website, or look more closely at your hospital discharge papers--i bet you will get an answer pretty quickly.

Any time : I usually don't put bandages on at all, only sticky "steri-strips". As long as the wounds are closed and dry, it should be ok to remove the bandages. Having said that, call your surgeon to be sure. Get well soon!
