Toothaches: Most toothaches are caused by either deep cavities, fractures in the tooth, or trauma caused from bruxing (grinding or clenching). Another cause may be root sensitivity due to gum recession or bruxism. Treatment depends on the cause of the toothache. All of these need to be evaluated and treated by your dentist.
