Can ciprofloxacin treat toothache?

No: Any antibiotic cannot cure a toothache. Antibiotics can only help reduce infection, hence reducing pain. This is a temporary cure.

Not the best : Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is a choice when selecting an antibiotic for tooth infection. However, this one is generally down the line a few. Unless, you are allergic to Amoxicillin , or are not a candidate for Clindamycin use, those are generally better choices. Some patients find they have little choice due to multiple allergies. Don't use it just because its what's left over from something else.
