Not that good choice: Halcion is one of the benzodiazepines, similar to ativan, xanax, (alprazolam) etc. Halcion may cause amnesia by effecting your memory adversely. Halcion is not used anymore, because of significant memory loss, some loss of control and sedation. Halcion may relax u during teeth extraction, but is not a good choice and i would not recommend it.

Relaxation: Halcion (triazolam) is often used as a sedative hypnotic in conjunction with local anesthetic along with nitrous oxide for oral concious sedation at the dentist. Ocs s used for various dental procedures.
