Used as directed: This is a very safe way to deal w/ dental procedures and is often used along w/ nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Don't plan to drive or do other tasks and follow directions carefully. Halcion: Oral conscious sedation is practiced safely by many dentists using Halcion. My biggest safety concern is that you have someone drive you to and from the dental procedure as you might be too tired to drive safely.
