YES: Yes you can provided that it does not rub and irritate the surgical site. Take it out periodically to rinse it and also rinse your mouth with warm salt water 24 hours after the extraction.

Wait one hour: For the first hour apply pressure with the gauze that your doctor gave you. Then you can put your brace back after the hour.
