Bad breath: Bad breath can be caused by: periododontal (gum) disease, unrestored decay, poor oral hygiene, a coated tongue, food choices, acid reflux, systemic disease, smoking, chew/dip, mouth cancer. First check with your dentist. If it is not a dental problem, alter your diet and check with your physician.

Try this: Halitosis is usually caused by 3 things: 1) poor oral hygiene leading to gingivitis or periodontitis or decay 2) stomach issues 3) sinus problems. Visit your dentist to have teeth and gums checked and follow their directions. If it's not your mouth, have your doctor check your stomach for acid reflux and your sinuses for chronic infection.

Log what you eat: Some people are just more prone to having bad breath. But you need have have immaculate oral hygiene, and keep track of the foods and beverages that may contribute to bad breath, you could be getting someof the bad breath from supplements and/or meds that you may be taking. Always brush your tongue and use plaque inhibiting rinses.

See your dentist: Just trying to use mouth washes and breath mints may temporarily help, but i would see your dentist to get a definitive way of helping you. You may require additional dental cleanings or need to be educated in proper hygiene. Always brush your tongue and check out the foods, drinks, supplements and meds that you are taking. Are you a mouth breather?

Bad Breath: There are many causes of bad breath, both of dental and medical origin. Find the cause(s) and treat them and then maintain good oral hygiene. By far the most common cause is poor oral hygiene. See the following website for more information: http://www.Smilesapartcosmeticdentist.Com/fresh-breath-control.Htm.
