Stop eating onions, garlic. A lot of halitosis is related to systemic, vascular absorption and subsequent pulmonary exhalation. No smoking. alcohol. gargle with diluted salt water or baking soda if still have tonsils. get a good toothpaste. use interdental brushes, floss. Sleeping with mouth open also can be source.

Bad breath can be caused by many different factors, including sinus infections, periodontal problems, smoking, cavities, acid reflux, and your diet. Address all of these possibilities with your dentist and physician, and I'm confident that your problem will at least be minimized, and hopefully eradicated.
