I have a sesamoid bone which is fractured, it does swell up when i walk and gives me pain , i have had this problem for 4 years will it ever go away ?

Years: Given that the problem is going on for years now. You should have it treated by an orthopaedic surgeon with foot and ankle specialist.

Possible: But after 4 years...Prob not. Taking it out has been done but not ideal either.

many times both may need to be removed for balance of wt bearing stresses. as in the great toe flexor, they are paired. knee only one.
