Ibuprofen & Tylenol (acetaminophen) : You really need to see a dentist to solve the problem. Home remedies will not cure a toothache. Will just prolong the inevitable.

See your dentist : There are no good remedies for a tooth ache without first diagnosing the origin of the problem. Many patients will use over the counter products that may help alleviate gum disease related symptoms but would not serve well for tooth decay related symptoms. Seek professional help immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment. Any delay may result in more treatment, cost and potential tooth loss.

Pain is a good!: Especially with teeth but true with the whole body in general. Pain is a good indicator something is wrong. You put your hand in a fire, it hurts, you pull it out, further damage averted! your tooth is no different, pain usually means you have issues that needs attention and should not be ignored. Please find a dentist to help you, the pain will likely get worse till you do.

None, Really: There are no home remedies or cures for rotten teeth. No magic pills or rinses or mouthwashes. Toothaches need to be treated locally by a dentist, someone who has years of experience treating these conditions. The sooner you call the sooner you will feel better. Please don't delay, the pain may soon be unbearable.
