Contact wear: Although they should not be needed, contacts can be safely worn about a month after lasik.

No need: You should not need contacts after lasik. The purpose for lasik to free the person from contacts or glasses. If there is a need for contacts after lasik then its safe to use it a month later. You will need a completely new fit since the cornea shape has been changed after lasik.
