Do dentists use still use braces?

Yes: Traditional "braces" are still widely used by dentists and orthodontists. There are other options using a series of clear aligner trays that are available as well.

Yes: Traditional braces, in the hands of a skilled orthodontic specialist, are more than twice as effective as clear aligners, removable appliances, or any of the other "quick-fixes" advertised in the media.

Specialists still do: I suppose you're asking because of the substantial advertising of "clear aligner" alternatives like invisalign. Orthodontic specialists have been using "braces" or "brackets" to move teeth in three-dimensions for over 100 years. The concepts are much the same as they always were, simply new and more refined manufacturing and advances in adhesives have improved those processes.
