In most states government funded Orthodontic treatment is capped at age 18. The funding decision is not made by your Dentist (and you really should be seeing a specialist Orthodontist), but by your state's Medicare/Medicaid statutes and the nInsurance company that provides or dental insurance. Please see an Orthodontist for an Initial Exam and available options.
