Can be very: An abdominoplasty can be very effective in treating loose skin around the lower abdomen and flanks in both men and women. This is not a substitute for diet and exercise, but many men can benefit in their abdominal contour with this surgery.

Fabulous!: If there is loose skin and/or stretched musculature (from weight loss, not pregnancy, obviously), tummy tuck is a great operation for men. If a man has a "beer belly" type abdomen with mostly intra-abdominal fat, tummy tuck will not be effective. This patient will need to lose weight first, emptying out the abdomen excess fat, after which the loose skin and muscle can be removed/tightened!

Great: A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty is just as effective for men as it is for women. It removes excess skin, stretch marks, excess fat, and repairs the abdominal muscles for a flat stomach.

Works well.: Particularly for men that have lost a significant amount of weight, and now have loose abdominal skin. It does not, however, fix a tight "beer belly", where there is a lot of internal fat.

Can be very good: It can be a very powerful operation. It's for those folks with extra skin and soft tissue. Many who have lost weight and have extra skin want the excess taken away. Some just want to fit into pants better. The abdominal muscles may also have spread out over time. The plication sews them back together. This flattens the tummy. Same as for women: With a few differences... The liposuction in men is to improve the love handles rather than define the waist. But as far as skin removal and muscle tightening, it is the same as in women.

Tummy Tuck: Abdominoplasty or tummy tuck, is an excellent way to remove excess skin and fat from the abdominal area and tighten up the stomach. Men can benefit from this procedure as much as woman can. For more answers see: www.Vipplasticsurgery.Com/tummy-tuck/.
