Early over activity: If you are not taking it easy immediately after the procedure, the incision can separate due to rupture of the sutures.

How long ago?: How long ago was your surgery? If its been 6 weeks then probably not, if its been 6 days then yes. Sutures are meant to hold tissue in place while the body heals. The repair is not as strong as the original tissue. After a tummy tuck we pull things pretty tight to give a good result. There is increased tension on the incision. For that reason you need to take it easy for 3-4 weeks.
