Insomnia: Exercise makes you feel more alert, but do not compensate for lack of sleep. Enough sleep when you feel rested, makes to balance your body and mind.

No.: There is no substitute for sleep, unfortunately. However, when I am having trouble getting to sleep, i often find that some light or moderate exercise will relax me and make it easier to get the rest that i need. A short, brisk walk will often do the trick.
