There are many hormonal possibilities. One of the most obvious and common is hypothyroidism which is easily treated with thyroid replacement hormone. This can be diagnosed via blood tests. Also, polycystic ovary syndrome is another possibility that is diagnosed with clinical evaluation and blood tests as well as ovarian ultrasound. See an endocrine doctor. Good luck to you!
