No Specific Age: That varies by the individual. Many women in their forties and even fifties attempt to be pregnant. As women get older, it is more important that they have specific medical evaluations of their heart before trying to get pregnant. While age is important, age and medical health together are more important!

Varies: Natural conception is difficult over age 40, and rare after age 43. Reproductive aging affects eggs, since older women have more abnormal eggs with chromosome defects and fewer available. Since the uterus can hold pregnancy until advanced ages with hormone support, it is possible to carry a pregnancy with donor eggs until at least the early 50s.
