Not unheard of: But very unusual. Women can potentially get pregnant as long as they ovulate. Women can get pregnant by in vitro fertilisation (ivf), carrying someone else's baby. Some older women have carried babies, after ivf, for other family members not able to do so.

Not likely at all: It would be very rare to get pregnant naturally or with fertility help at that age. Also if you did get pregnant more than 60% of the pregnancies would result in miscarriages. The really only way to achieve pregnancy successfully at that age is with a donor egg. Please don't believe the women getting pregnant without donor over the age of 43.

Yes, very often: Spermicidal foams, gels, and films when used alone without a condom have a significantly high pregnancy rate. In other words, if 100 women were using a spermicide alone as their only means of contraception, approximately 20 would be pregnant in one year.

In time: Your body has to clear the drug before your regular periods resume. Once this happens, you should be able to get pregnant unless there are some other issues preventing this from happening. So please see your gynecologist if you have been trying for a while without success.

Yes: Fda classify the drug as class b. Medications in this category can be used safely. Avoid to use it in big doses, specially in third trimester.
