There are several: Remember that sinusitis does not always need antibiotics. If symptoms gave lasted more than 10 days, guidelines generally recommend Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) (amoxicillin /clavulanic acid) if not penicillin allergic. If you are, then levoquin or other fluoroquinolone should be used.

Depends: The best way to treat any infection is with culture directed antibiotic therapy. This is not always performed with routine sinusitis, but would be advised for complicated, chronic, or chronic acute sinus dz. Penicillin derivatives are probably the most widely used antibiotics (amoxicillin or augmentin). Hope this helps!
