Can antibiotics make sinusitis worse before it gets better? i've been on them for three days so far and feel a lot worse than when i started.

Possible: If the sinusitis was viral and not bacterial, then the antibiotic would not make it better. Also if it is bacterial --then if the organism is resistant to the antibiotic you are taking--it also would not get better. If you are not experiencing a temperature greater than 102, then I would suggest cont with the antibiotic. You can also try irrigating your nose with saline spray-this may also help.
