8 Years of College: Dental school is four years after your regular undergraduate college degree, which is also four years. Usually, you would major in a science or combination of sciences in college. But, you can also major in something else, as long as you get all the required science/math courses before applying to dental school. If you want to, you can also continue your education after earning a dds degree.
