It is possible...: I certainly can imagine patients at least perhaps being hypersensitive to the denture material. It is not common but it is possible.

Yes: Some patients suffer sinus difficulty after extractions because the roots of the upper teeth sometimes lie close to the sinuses. If you feel air in your mouth when you gently blow your nose, contact your dentist to rule out a tiny hole in your sinus. It is important to keep all your follow up appointments to ensure proper fit of the dentures. A denture too 'short' can cause sinus difficulties.

Possible: Extractions can be related to sinus problems. If upper tooth roots extend into sinus areas and during removal the lining is affected causing a communication into the sinus -- this can be a problem. See your oral surgeon for this. Allergy problems -- not really, unless it is related to the above situation. Plenty of great oral surgeons in philly to check this out for you.

Yes and no: Allergies to the material can occur but dentures do not cause sinus problems.

Definitely, yes: Having an allergic response to dental materials is a common cause of intractable pain, chronic fatigue, chronic sinusitis and headaches. Clear plastic partial dentures with plastic teeth are preferable to pink.
