Tendonitis: Adequate warmup, stretch, & cool down. Limit overuse activity & don't try to increase weight workouts more than 10% increase per week. Consider ice/heat/modalities.

What can be done to prevent tendonitis in your knees?

Exercise: Staying active tends to keep your joints healthy. Low impact sports such as walking probably best. It's possible but not proven that joint health with vitamin c and glucosamine supplements may help, but probably not that much if at all (there are other benefits to vitamin c however). If lifting weights, use good form.
