Xylitol: One of the best new products being used in gums and mints is xylitol. Bacteria can't live on it. Look for it.

Sugar Free: Any chewing gum is fine as long as it has no sugar or sugar products. Some chewing gums has the word dental on them indicating that they can be used safly with dental restorations.
