Bleeding after tooth: extraction. A certain amount of bleeding is to be expected following surgery. Slight bleeding, oozing, or redness in the saliva is not uncommon. Excessive bleeding may be controlled by first rinsing or wiping any old clots from your mouth, then placing a gauze pad over the area and biting firmly for 30 minutes. This will stop the bleeding and remove the blood bubble. If concerned call the surgeon.

Blood clot: Talk to your Dentist. S/he may want you to wipe it away and then bite on a folded gauze pad (changing it every 20 minutes) until all blessing stops.or the Dentist may want to see you to put in a stitch.
