I had orif surgery on my ankle. what are possible complications from this surgery?

Numerous: There are complications related to healing, such as delayed union or nonunion, hardware failure, wound healing and infection, or joint stiffness. Others include anesthetic complications, DVT (blood clots), and pe (blood clot to lung). There are numerous others.

Ankle surgery: Some of the potential complications are infection pain numbness. You can have a delay of healing of the fracture. Your surgeon can further explain some of the other complications.
