Eye spasms to start: Botox is used for many problems related to muscle contraction, such as eyelid spasms, for which it was originally developed, as well as neck muscle contractures and in other locations. It is also used to stop certain disorders caused by over-active nervous stimulation, like sweating and tearing. It has recently been used for headaches, usually injected in the forehead or neck.
