Yes: Some people can extend their tongue far enough so that the back of the tongue drops enough that the tip of the epiglottis can be seen. Ive noticed this more often in kids and young women patients. Consider yourself lucky. You are in a select group, and it's totally normal.

Yes in kids : In very young children, the epiglottis is situated much higher and it is not unusual to see epiglottis in this population. As we get older, the epiglottis descends so it is unusual but possible to see the top of your epiglottis as an adult.
