Laryngopharangeal reflux would be essentially colorless. This reflux, if it emanates from the distal esophagus, can be acidic, but if it starts from the lower part of the throat ( pharynx ) it is.nonacidic and the usual treatment for GERD usually doesn't relieve symptoms. This is why most cases of LPR are very annoying & difficult to treat even by otolaryngologists.
