Am struggling to swollow, my throat is extremely sore and i can barely see my throat as my epiglottis is swollen, and there is a hard bump in it?

See a doctor: Your description is a confusing as most people cannot see their own epiglottis when they open their mouth. You might be referring to your uvula (punching bag like structure hanging from soft palate). If so, you may have an infection and you should see your doctor for an evaluation. If you are also short of breath or have wheezing from your throat, you need to go to the er asap.
