Possibly: Your family member should be evaluated by a physician who utilizes a comprehensive approach to treating patients. The cause needs to be identified first. Treatment such as ret, physical therapy, massage, injections should be used to mange and treat the problem asa first line therapy. Meds should only be used for temporary relief of pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms.
