I have severe chronic pain in my upper left thigh, its extremely painfull to sit down or stand up.xray shows nothing, mri shows nothing.doctor says pain may be comming from the spine.pain meds no use.

Spine doc?: Was the MRI of the hip only or also the lower back? If you have not had a workup done for the lower back I would make that the next step in getting a diagnosis. In the meantime you might want to look into accupuncture or chiropractic care to help alleviate some of the pain.

Spinal X-rays?: Get spinal X-rays of your lumbo/sacral area, consult with your physician or a chiropractor.
