Sleep disorder?: Many folks do get drowsy after eating a large meal, especially turkey at thanksgiving (seratonin). High carbohydrate intake could result in blood sugar changes that can cause drowsiness. A nightime sleep disorder, such as sleep apnea, could decrease quality sleep, and cause daytime drowsiness. Try high protein approach, avoid sugars, and see if you feel better. If not, see your doctor.
