A member asked:

Is it possible to work on two teeth at the same time during a root canal procedure?

Yes: The number of teeth being worked on has no effect on the outcome of the root canal procedure as long as the patient can tolerate the procedures and numbness (if necessary) in multiple areas of the mouth. Many patients prefer longer appointments to get more treatment completed.

Absolutely . . . .: I agree with dr. Rutman. As long you are able to tolerate it, there is no reason why two or more teeth can not be worked on at the same time with a root canal.

Yes : Sure, if your dentist can achieve isolation of the tooth such as using a rubber dam. This is important to keep bacteria and saliva out of your tooth and to protect you from swallowing instruments.
