Is it safe to wear earphones with a ruptured eardrum?

Perhaps.....: If your eardrum was ruptured some time ago there should be no problem with wearing earphones. I would caution you about turning the volume up too high tough. When the eardrum is ruptured it won't transmit sound efficiently. You still can cause nerve damage with the volume up too high. You would also be careful with getting water in the ear.

Safe: Should be safe. Common sense with volume levels.
