Might help: Cymbalta (duloxetine) is a norepinephrine and serotonin reuptatke inhibitor. It helps to control pain too even though it is not a pain killer itself. It's good for fibomilgia and as antidepressant. It is somewhat expensive nd may not be covered by insurance

Yes, FDA approved.: The fda has approved this drug for chronic back pain. Yes it does relieve pain, and suddenly stopping will causes a short term rebound in pain. Costly, but most major non-state or medicare insurers can have it approved.
