Not commonly. : The eye twitch may have occurred anyway. It really depends on the age of the child. Kids in the 7-9 year old range can twitch or tic developmentally.

Possible, not likely: People taking stimulants for adhd routinely stop and start them all the time, typically without notable side effects and certainly without lasting ones. A temporary eye twitch after stopping might be med related, but anything last longer than a day probably isn't. Tic of this type are quite common and stimulants usually make them mildly worse, so stopping should, if anything, make them better.
