Yes: While the diagnosis sounds complicated, situs inversus simply indicates that the internal organs are arranged in a mirror image pattern. In that setting, dextrocardia, a right sided heart, is expected. So the only problem is a deficient atrial septum. Problems may arise during pregnancy and close follow up with a maternal fetal specialist is necessary, but there is a good chance of a healthy baby.

MFM consult: You should have a consultation with an obgyn or mfm doc before you conceive if possible. They can review details in your medical history and see if there are risk factors for pregnancy complication. You may need an echocardiogram to assess heart function.

Yes!: See a maternal-fetal medicine specialist and a cardiologist either before conception or in the earliest possible time during pregnancy. If dextrocardia with ASD is all you have, you should expect a good/normal outcome most of the time with proper medical care. Your offspring is at risk for congenital heart defects as well, so genetic counseling is warranted. Best of luck!
