We in our 38th week(pregnancy) and no sign of labour pain still...baby was confirmed fine 2 weeks back. what happens if we pass 40 weeks and we still not having labor pains or any signs of labor?

Depends: A normal pregnancy can last from 37-42 weeks, & if the baby & mom are healthy, most Drs do not try to bring on the labor artificially until at least 40 weeks. Definitely call your wife’s OB provider if any concerns though
