What's the side effects of having a nasal steroid since i have itchy bad running nose in the mornings.please advise doctors...?

Don't worry: The main side effect is nasal dryness and nose bleeds. Overall, nasal steroids are very safe. When taken for a long time, they may increase the pressure inside the eyes. There may be some effect on bones, again when taken for many years, but the effect is much smaller than oral steroids. In children, only beclomethasone has been associated with a small decrease in growth.
