Contact Dermatitis?: Red itchy rash along bridge of nose around contact with glasses is concerning for allergic contact dermatitis. Contact allergens include metals, glues, plastics, rubber, fragrances, topical antibiotics, preservatives, and chemicals. Avoidance is mainstay of treatment along with topical steroid creams. See an Allergist if persistent. Diagnosed by allergen patch testing.

CONTACT DERMATITIS: SOUNDS LIKE A CONTACT DERMATITIS FROM THE NOSEPIECE OF THE GLASSES. ARE THEY NEW? METAL OR PLASTIC? IN ANY CASE, CHANGE THEM AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS
