RCT Procedure: Your dentist will give you some local anesthesia to make you completely numb. A small opening is made through the biting surface of the tooth to gain access to the canal inside the root which is cleaned out of all tissue. The canal(s) will be irrigated, dried and filled with a rct filling either on that or a subsequent visit. Then the tooth will be restored with permanent filling or crown.
