A member asked:

Is it normal to have trouble walking right after the cast on your foot has been removed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes it can be: It depends how long the cast have been there and what was the reason for the cast, because you have not used the foot and the muscles and other structures may need some time to return to normal function. Some times you need physical therapy or massage after the cast is removed discuss with the doctor or podiatrist who is treating you in your case.
