How do i find a dentist that specializes in/can work with trauma/abuse survivors?

Ask some Questions: This can take some work. I have been affiliated with a group called give back a smile, through the american academy of cosmetic dentistry. This program also donates care to victims of abuse. The reason i mention it is because we were provided training in how to work with patients who have had abuse. Therapist or social workers can be other good sources to help you find a good dentist.

Most can: Most dentists can treat you, but depends on the severity of your injuries. Best to find a compassionate dentist who can take the time to treat you comfortably.
