Be assured: A mucocele is a minor salivary gland w a blocked duct. If the blockage clears, or the "bubble" ruptures the swollen area will flatten. The previously stretched tissue will feel squishy. In a few days the area will feel normal. If you're concerned, ask your dentist to take a look.

Mucocele: I'm not clear why you are upset? These types of situations require a one on one personal exam in order to better answer your questions and\or concerns. If you trust the dentist who has already seen you, then please trust his\her advice. If not, find another dentist whom you do trust for a second opinion. Unfortunately, we can't diagnose or treat you over the internet.
