Pneumonia: You must get your immune system evaluated. This should not happen just because of the asthma. Something else is going on. Ask to see an immunologist.

See below: If your asthma is uncontrolled, you are more susceptible to lung infections. Or, you may have an immune deficiency. Get yourself checked and make sure to get the pneumonia vaccine, if you haven't done so already. Good luck!
